Kevin Quinn serves as Managing Director, Investments and brings more than 27 years of wealth management experience to Wedbush Securities. His specializations include 401(K), estate, and comprehensive investment planning, specifically geared to ensure that your wealth continues to work for you. Before joining Wedbush Securities, Kevin spent 11 years with Wells Fargo Advisors, and the previous eight and seven years with Smith Barney and Prudential Securities, respectively.

Kevin Quinn lives in Philadelphia, PA with his two sons, Harrison and Cooper. He is an active member of the Philadelphia Cricket Club. He is also active at his son’s schools, Penn Charter and AIM Academy.

When approaching financial planning, each individual and family has a different set of goals and priorities. As a new client, I provide an honest analysis of your current approach and build a tailored financial plan to help you reach your milestones.

With over 18 years of experience working with clients, I strive to make an impact through my planning expertise. What I do is help take the stress out of those decisions by offering a tested and informed approach. My clients appreciate how I take the time to explain complex investment decisions in a way they can understand. While financial planning is a skill I have built through a great depth of experience, my compassion and desire to serve clients is what ultimately drives me. I take great pride in partnering with my clients in helping to make every financial decision as smart and informed as possible.

Howard E. Kern is the Managing Director, Investments in the Los Angeles office of Wedbush Securities. He has more than 32 years of wealth management experience, working closely with high net worth clients and businesses. Before joining Wedbush Securities, Howard spent 28 years with UBS, where he was recognized as a Top Branch Manager in 2017, from OnWallSreet. He spent the previous two years with Smith Barney, and got his start in the financial services industry as an investment associate with Drexel Burnham Lambert.

He received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics, with a Minor in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. In 2019 he was honored with the Widney Alumni House Award, recognizing outstanding volunteer commitment to his alma mater. Howard is a FINRA-Registered General Securities Representative, Registered Investment Advisor Representative, and holds life insurance and variable annuity licenses.

Howard currently resides in Los Angeles, California. A big believer in community involvement, Howard is active and serves on the board for a number of national non-profit organizations and has been recognized multiple times nationally for his volunteerism.

Tony May is Managing Director, Investments in the Newport Beach office of Wedbush Securities. He has over 30 years of experience in the financial industry, with 27 of those years as a registered Financial Advisor. Earlier in his finance career, he started as a banker with First Interstate Bank. He soon discovered his passion for capital markets and portfolio management. His guiding principles enabled him to launch his career providing the highest level of service and portfolio management for his clients which is now the cornerstone of his practice.

Before joining Wedbush, Tony worked at Lehman Brothers, Smith Barney, Merrill Lynch, UBS, Morgan Stanley, and Stifel Nicolaus, which all contributed to him building his business with his financial planning approach of “always putting the client first and doing the right thing.”

As a seasoned financial planner, he focuses on assisting clients by providing customized wealth management strategies to high net-worth individuals, businesses, and key executives. His overall goal is to develop simple integrated tax-efficient strategies that help maximize clients’ net after-tax accumulation of wealth. Tony takes pride in seeking to provide clients with exceptional risk-adjusted performance and superior service.

Originally from Northern California, Sacramento, he now resides in Laguna Niguel, CA with his wife of 23 years and their two daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, tennis, obstacle-course racing, hiking and traveling. He also enjoys attending sporting events, plays, concerts and visiting art museums.

KEN HUTKIN
Managing Director, Investments

As a Wedbush Managing Director, I bring in over 30 years of experience for the New York office of Wedbush Securities. I was passionate about Wall Street from a young age and was inspired to pursue a career in Finance and previously served as Senior Vice President & Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley. As a former business owner and entrepreneur, I’m able to understand the challenges faced by professionals and business owners, which helps me provide the ability to design custom tailored solutions and financial plans. I have a knack for navigating through complex financial issues and pride myself on the ability to listen carefully to clients’ challenges and goals so as to formulate appropriate investment plans into simple and clear actionable items. Originally from Philadelphia, I’ve lived in New York on and off for the last 30 years. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland in English and Philosophy and did graduate work at Villanova University and Pace University in New York City. I take personal pride in raising my four sons. In my free time, I enjoy coaching football, baseball, and basketball, playing tennis, adventure travel, and collecting East Asian art.

RON WINKLER
Vice President, Investments

Prior to Wedbush, I spent 38 years of my career as the Founder and Managing Partner of Winkler & Co. I was engaged mainly in the areas of tax, financial planning and tax sensitive investing. I developed a passion for business and entrepreneurship in college and upon graduation, I established and developed his own CPA firm by the age of 26. I pride myself on having provided the highest level of personalized, quality service to my loyal clients. This includes my ability to guide them through the “cradle to grave” financial aspects of their lives. Through my years of experience in the trenches, my clients often complimented me on my ability to provide them with solutions to their financial challenges. Through my extensive experience as a CPA, I have a special perspective on the tax and business aspects of financial planning, including custom solutions regarding retirement, gifting or estate planning. I’m grateful to know that my work has had a positive impact on the lives of hundreds of clients and friends over the course of his career. I currently reside in Huntington, NY with my wife Laurie. We are proud to have raised 3 children into independent and well-rounded adults. In my spare time, I enjoy skiing, salt water fishing, traveling and gardening.

NATHAN WILD

I am an Associate Portfolio Manager in our New York office. Originally, I started in finance as an intern at Morgan Stanley serving under Ken Hutkin. I joined Wedbush in 2018, as a member of the 57th Street Advisors. I'm thrilled to work with an incredible team as they build the wealth management presence of the firm in New York. I graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.A. in Political Science. I currently hold Series 7, 66, and SIE licenses. I'm originally from Tenafly, New Jersey, and currently reside in Jersey City, New Jersey. In my personal life, I continue to study politics and history. My hobbies include baseball and baseball analytics, and making music. I also teach a Hebrew language class for third grade students.

I bring over 10 years of financial services experience, as I manage the daily operational and administrative functions for the team and their clients. After college, I spent 6 years expanding my skillset and establishing my career path working at Bank of America, Merrill Lynch before moving to New York City.
