Anthony LeCour
Managing Director, Consumer Investment Banking
Anthony LeCour is a Managing Director at Wedbush Securities specializing in providing investment banking and M&A advisory services to food, beverage, personal products, nutritional supplements/ingredients, and household goods emerging and established consumer companies. Mr. LeCour has nearly 30 years of investment banking experience advising domestic and international companies on over $110 billion of transactions, involving M&A, strategic investments, joint ventures, and capital raising engagements.
Mr. LeCour has executed numerous noteworthy consumer assignments, including: ChemChina’s $3.5 billion acquisition of Makhstehim Agan (Israel), at the time the largest outbound transaction in the China market; Bright Foods majority investment in GNC China business; Aquacai Bottled Water sale to middle eastern group; ConAgra Food Ingredients on their acquisition of Saroni Sugar and Rice; and Groupe LeCreuset Cookware on sale to Van Zuydam Group.
Prior to Wedbush, Mr. LeCour was Head of the Consumer and Retail group at Dresner Partners, and Global Head of Consumer Group at Compass Advisers Group. Previous to that position, he was a Managing Director in the M&A group at CastleOak LP, a Cantor Fitzgerald affiliate company and held senior positions at Merrill Lynch, and Citigroup. Mr. LeCour begin his career at Lehman Brothers.
Mr. LeCour holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, and a BA in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He has served as a Director at Leake and Watts Inc., one of the largest not-for-profit child welfare agencies in the New York metropolitan area.
