Chad Collins, CMFC®

Biography

Working with clients to provide customized and tailored solutions to protect their wealth is at the core of the Stone Beacon Capital approach. As CEO, Chad Collins is a multi-generational advisor that creates strong relationships with his clients of all income levels. He builds and monitors portfolios to establish and maintain safe and reliable income streams that will support their respective lifestyles during their careers, throughout retirement, and through wealth transfers. He takes this same approach with businesses to create benefit plans for their workforce.

Chad launched Stone Beacon Capital in 2017 after 20 years’ experience with both Wells Fargo Advisors and Merrill Lynch, to provide his clients with comprehensive wealth management solutions. He works with individuals, businesses, as well as nonprofit organizations, and specializes in Advisory Accounts, portfolio management, benefits planning, and more. While at his previous firms he was named to the prestigious President’s Counsel and Chairman’s Club, respectively, being recognized as one of their elite financial advisors.

Chad received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Whittier College and earned his Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor distinction (CMFC®). His family were founding members of San Elijo Hills in 2000 where he currently resides with his wife Janelle and their five children, Brandon, Brooke, Blake, Bretton, and Brycen. When he’s not spending time with his family, Chad is very active in his community and is a strong proponent of area youth philanthropic endeavors, including Boys & Girls Club of Sam Marcos, Rady Children’s Hospital, and more. He believes that giving back, especially locally, helps lift up your neighborhoods.
