Biography

In my nearly 60 year career in the financial services industry, I have been an active part of the success of my clients’ portfolios and continue to be a trusted and loyal advisor.

Understanding clients’ concerns, building sufficient liquidity into programs, developing asset allocations that fit the client’s objectives and tolerance for risk, evaluating money managers, and, screening and recommending alternative investments to meet stated objectives are the tools I use to build trusted relationships. I am loyal to the clients I serve and am honored to be a part of Wedbush, which has helped to redefine the financial services industry by continually breaking new ground in advising clients on strategic transactions and providing new opportunities for investors.

After receiving my BA in Arts and Economics, and my MBA from Stanford, I entered the investment banking field. I gradually transitioned to mostly managing my clients’ investments. I have been part of management of a regional, as well as have been a part of well-established firms, such as Drexel Burnham Lambert and Morgan Stanley. Through the decades, I have been a securities agent in 25 states (AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, ID, LA, MA, MI, MT, NC, NE, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, TN, VA, WA), as well as certified with my Series 1, 7, 63 and 65 licenses.

Beyond time with my clients, I have also been a very active part of my community, in both the professional and non-profit worlds, including Securities Industry of America-Member, Executive Committee of California group Kappa Beta Phi-President, Spring Street Forum-President, former Chairman of Stanford Business School Trust and the Beverly Hills Education Foundation, Teach for America/Los Angeles, Stanford Westside Club and Founding Chairman of the Center for the Partially Sighted and the American Jewish Committee-Member National Governing Board (NYC). These are just a few of the organizations I have devoted my free time to.

I am a fourth generation Angeleno, and reside in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles. I am married with three children and four grandchildren. My wife, Susie, has two grown children and four grandchildren. Some of my interests include tennis, skiing, sailing, photography, movies, and reading.
